·Hi Everyone. I figure that if I wanted some kind of clarity, I should ask mybquestionsninbthebright places.
I’ve stumbled upon a sales listing for a modern Omega Railmaster 57 Tribute. The photos tell a different story though. The crystal appears to have scratches like a hesalite one would get, the movement is an Omega 285 manual wind and not the 8806, and the engravings inside the caseback are for a 2914-5. This is where I’m stumped.
If it’s modern, it’s fake at best. If it’s vintage, are the hands correct? Or is this a frankenwatch? Is this actually a legit Railmaster at a great price?
I’ve attached the listings photos for your review and comment.
Thanks Hive Mind.
