Hi,
I experienced the same issue with my 1450 Forstner Band. I'm not able to find the non-stretch links on forstner shop. Does anyone have the direct link to purchase them?
Shoot us an email and we鈥檒l send you one for free 馃榾 [email protected]

Hi Lu,
Done and they immediately offered to sent me the non-stretch links for free.
Clearly this band has a weakness with the stretch links but the 芦 after sale customer service 禄 of Forstner is very serious and solved the problem.

Another plug for Forstner's incredible customer service:

They just sent me a mk 2 flatlink bracelet because I had an issue with the first generation version and the new parts are no longer compatible with it. I was just trying to see if there were any ways to salvage the band, and I didn't expect them to provide a compete new band for free.

Finally got my 1861 back from service and put on my Forstner 1450 with non-stretch links on. While my stretch links didn't fail, I wasn't a fan of the flimsy feeling they gave as the result of being hollow links. The bracelet feels much more
substantial with the replacement solid links, and I don't have to worry about them failing down the line.

I now have nothing but positive things to say about this bracelet. After trying several other aftermarket options out, I can confidently say the Forstner is the clear winner in my books. Better overall build quality - better machining, more substantial feel etc, use of screw-in adjustment links (as opposed to friction pins), positive customer service experience.

I recently bought the 1450 without stretch links and I absolutely love it. This is my first aftermarket bracelet that I actually enjoy and won鈥檛 sell on.

Agreed. I tried two other aftermarket bracelets before landing on this one and sold both. This one's going to be a keeper.
