Get rid of the Fix-O-Flex, get a nice lizard band, some old T-shirts, toothpicks, Q-tips, Polywatch and some elbow grease.
Maybe you wind up with something like this.
Hard to do better in a vintage watch for that kind of money.

·It could be a decent buy for the price. Just look really closely at the photos from different angles and hopefully you can figure out which marks are just scratches on the crystal or shadows. It could be that the dial is fairly clean, although I do think there are some spots. The bezel and lugs look sharp.
