I'd vote yes. It looks like the 12 - 6 cross hair runs through the correct places and the patina is normal for an original black dial. Wait for more opinions though because I only took a cursory glance on a small screen.

It looks a little odd to me, the photos are really too small.

I think the writing is a normal variant that I've seen with cal. 501/505 connies.

Yes , I know those, just like my Seamaster. I meant have you seen them on a Constellation before.

Can't say that I have but my seamaster example shares the same font style and markers as the connie in the ebay listing so I think it is reasonable to assume the dots are correct. Nevertheless, the dial is too aged for me and that to me is the bigger problem.

Boy, good luck trying to figure out what kind of shape the dial finish is in with those scanned pics.

That case is naturally clean - looks close to what it looked like when it left the factory.

Cape Cod polishing clothes usually works decently with SS. I use Jewelers Rogue clothes with gold/gold filled though.

I think it is original, but the pictures really didn't help at all. I would have bid more but I have limited funds at the moment.

    Ended at $676.66

Decent price for that, unusual dial with pearls on a Constellation. Too bad someone here did not grab it.
