Is this authentic?

I am new to the watch world, have no idea what’s good and what’s not. My mum found this Omega vintage watch. Which wanted to know if it’s real if not and if she should go for it or not. I have tried to find it on image search on google but can’t seem to find anything.

How about a picture of the face?

No way it’s worth 3K.
Does she really want a gold bracelet? Those are impossible to size, you might be spending for something she can’t even put on her wrist,
and they make the watch needlessly expensive because the price of gold has gone up so much.

If she wants a watch that looks dressy on a special occasion once in a while, why not look for something like those below?
They will be much more legible and practical. Old watches are fragile and not water resistant.
The Geneve below is gold plate so it should be much cheaper than actually offered for on Ebay.
