Is this authentic or fake Omega?

Hi all!

Couple days ago found a guy who wants to sell his Omega knowing nothing about that watch. As to my research results this is a 1950's Omega 2627 (solid gold) cal.353 with a bumper rotor. The crown is not original, the authentic one has a clober form. I will be able to examine this beauty next week, but a have some doubts on this dial, seems like it was repainted. The seller asks 900 Euro or 990 USD - is that a fair price for that watch?

Can you please help me?

Thank you!
Best regards.

I am pretty certain it is a repainted dial. The 12 o'clock marker is crooked and the 9 o'clock marker is completely different from the rest. Several of the arrow markers are also crooked. It is a mess.

Yes it is authentic but the dial may be repainted. Better pictures of the dial would be helpful, at the very least the dial has been taken apart and poorly resembled.

From this angle, it looks like the 9:00 is taking a right turn 😉
A straight on shot of the dial would help things.

Dial is a horrible mess. There should be luminous material where these misaligned markings are, actually they shouldn't be there at all.

It will be very hard finding an original dial.

I just found a couple dials on ebay, just dial (again repainted one) and one with the movement (in a very poor condition), and actually they are really hard to find ones.

So, the watch remains in hands of an actual owner.

Thanks for replies.

It's funny, but when a new member asks about a potential purchase and calls it "this beauty", I'm immediately expecting it to be a piece of crap, and this one didn't disappoint.

And when it is called "this beauty" in a FS ad, you know it is priced about 1.5 - 2x the going rate for the model.
