Hi Omega Forum Friends,

Seeking your assistance identifying this SM.

What i know this far...
- Case: 137.005 - 63 (according to the case back)
- Size: 35MM or 35.5MM
- Caliber: 285 (not winding but looks decent)
- Ref #: 16,918,728
- Year: 1958
- Condition: The dial is nice and aged, hands are newer, case is on the rough side of fair.

From my research thus far it looks more like CK 14390, the hands are questionable and crown incorrect. When watching an Omega Enthusiast video I noticed the below model from the same year. Which gives me HOPE!

The case model suggests it's a Seamaster 30 but not branded. What are your thoughts?

Considering purchasing for U$D200.

The sum of the parts is worth more than $200. If you like the patina on the dial, I would grab it for that.

I agree that the hands and dial are mismatched.

UPDATE:

I purchased the watch not working for USD100, had it serviced and parts replaced. It's now working well.
The crown I provided is the right diameter but much too thick.

The case model is 136.007 with a Cal 285 from 1958.

Can anyone tell me if this is a SM 30?

It is not a 136.007 but a 135.007

It should have Seamaster 30 on the dial IMHO, if not, a changed dial or service dial.

The movement is 3-4 years younger (1958) than the earliest Seamaster 30 (1962-63) and a caliber 285, not a caliber 286.

I think dial and movement are donors from an other watch so properly a franken watch.

That was my fear.
I was hopeful it was a 14390 with the incorrect case back.

It adds up as a 14390 based on this one for sale via Omega Enthusiast.
