Is this a Polerouter redial?

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a UG 10234-1 that looks very similar to this:

Picture taken from thespringbar.com -Universal Geneve Bumper Polarouter – A Complete Collectors Guide

I had assumed that the watch pictured above is also a redial as it is lacking the Polerouter and De Luxe script, and the high placement of "swiss" is also odd to me.

The watch I have on my bench has the dial below (I will take some additional pictures of the complete watch once it is put back together).

I have a hard time seeing any obvious signs that this is a redial apart from the lack of some text. The condition of this dial corresponds with the condition of the case, movement and other components of the watch. From looking at the back of the dial, the UG logo does not appear to have been removed. So what do the UG experts think?

I would highly appreciate your input!

Thanks!

It seems to me simply original.
Agreed

Quite a few dials without the Polerouter text pop up across several different references. I'm not sure of the origin (e.g. are they service dials?) but I think there is little doubt that factory printed dials exist without the Polerouter text for whatever reason.
