Hi everyone,
I again was on Omega hunt on some auction sites and found one cheap one.
The seller is assuming that the dial has been changed in the past.
I have to admit with my little experience of vintage Omegas, this one is 50:50 with my gutfeeling.
Hope someone here might help me a little.

Yea it’s genuine. I wouldn’t be surprised if the dial was original. The fonts are contemporary and plain dials were seen at this time

That’s not an unusual price for one of these, they’re extremely good value watches for two reasons, being geneves they were entry level Omega models in their day with simple cases, and because they were made at the end of the 60’s into the 70’s they had quite decently water resistant cases and excellent movements so the survival rate is very high.

The Cal 565 is excellent, so I’d buy it for 180 euro all day long.

Yes. And maybe... Be prepared that the middle case looks like it has sweat related metal deterioration....

Well folks,
After having payed the money the auction house sent me the advice not to pay anything to the vendor and they blocked him.
well 12h too late. However either the money gone or I’m lucky and I’ll receive something in few days… I’m wishing me good luck
