Is it possible to clean/restore this Omega Geneve Dial?

Hello. I'm thinking about buying my first vintage Omega.

I live in Brasil, so it is not easy to find good pieces.

That said, I found this Geneve with a decent price, but it has these dirts/patinas (I don't know exactly) around and at the bottom of the dial.

Is it possible, with a good service, to clean or remove it? Also I would like to know if it is
recommended to do a service in this case at all.

The dial is damaged and cannot really be repaired in a way that will look good. My advice is to be patient and wait for a watch that is in good condition. Perhaps you can join a watch group and form a network with some collectors who have good watches.

Not advisable. Don't try it because it never ends up well. Find a watch that you like with a better dial.

Looks like scratches not dirt. Even if it was dirt or a stain the chances are any attempt at cleaning would make it worse by removing the finish on the dial

agreed with what others posted - scratches, not dirt.

You can clean dirt from a dial by gently dabbing with Rodico - often on vintages watches it flaked lime that has detached from the handset - but anything more than that often just ends in tears.
