I’ve been looking for a pie pan and also have been reading a log about them. Do you spot anything wrong with it or should i pull the trigger? (It’s in a very good price). I’ve tried to look out for all the important pictures.

It seems to be a really nice exemple so far, but I guess experts will ask for high resolution pictures to confirm that everything is all right

The yellow gasket is old by decade, so you will probably need to service it, take it into account
😀

Original dial - check.
Hands correct style and length - check.
Original crown - check.
Gold cap intact - check.
Movement clean - check.
No sign of rotor rub inside case back - check.
Observatory on back still well-defined - check.
Movement calibre correct - check.
Overall - slightly polished but generally looking good if the price is right.

the seller claims it sat in a safe for over 35 years, and that he took it for being “oiled” before quarentine. Do you know if gaskets for this specific measure are commonly available?

Buy it.

I am not really in touch with the prices of these, but if he says buy it, I would feel confident and wouldn't quibble over a hundred or two. Better to slightly overpay for something good and then you've got it, rather than let it go by because "the price was too high" and end up kicking yourself. But that's easy for me to say, it's not my money!

IMO 1500 is a little high ~1250 is fair.
If the seller will reduce, great, but I’d still buy it at the original price.

Agreed. Good buy at $1,500, very good buy at $1,250. If this is your first vintage purchase, you did your homework. Well done.

Thank you very much. And yes, this is would be my first vintage watch. I’ve been reading Desmond’ blog, some videos of omega enthusiast and forum reading/asking. Actually i have been using watch u seek, until now that I've created my account on omega forums.

Nice find! Regarding the price: +1 that 1500USD isn't cheap, but it's also not expensive. I doubt you'd have trouble to sell it again for that kind of money on C24 with some decent pictures and a nice description.

And factor in how impatient you are. It might be worth $250 not to spend the next several months looking for a cheaper one, by which time $1500 might be a pretty reasonable price anyway. Time is money.
