·I’m looking at a few vintage watches ranging in sizes but I’m not sure if it is too small for my 7” ish wrist. Any thoughts?
Is a 34mm at the crown, 19mm lug width (for a strap) too big for a 7”-7.5” wrist?

·Depends on your personal taste and your specific wrist shape . There will be no consensus on this. Find a way to try one on. Or just buy one, like we all do. Asking questions on the internet is no substitute for first-hand experience. If you don't like it, sell it.

·I have a 7" wrist and recently bought a smaller watch that I thought I will never consider.
If possible, try it on and take several wrist shots. It will give you a good indication how it will look on your wrist. It's really hard to judge without doing this especially if you are used to larger watches.

I wear 28.5-42mm but 33-40 is my sweet spot. Small watches feel perfectly normal after a few days- they were the norm until about 30 years ago. In fact, after wearing 32-37mm watches for a few weeks, you may find it hard going back to larger watches- they feel massive and heavy in comparison- almost clownish.

·A matter of personal taste. I wear tiny tank watches from the 1940-50's and newer 42mm divers without any reservations. The bulk of my collection falls in the 33-37mm range and my wrist is 6.75 inches.

·I'm 7.25" and 34mm is somehow both a) the smallest I'd go and b) my favorite size, generally. Hard to argue against the elegance of that size.
