Hello all together.

Yes ... I did it ... I bought an Omega Speedmaster Spacemaster Z-33.

And as anybody know ... when you give things a name ... than it's personell.

I call her "Sputnik" ... beep ... beep ... beep ... beep ... beep ... beep ...

Why?

When I look at her from the front and if I ignore visually the crown,
than all four buttons remind me of Sputnik's antennas.

That simple.

But you want see pics ... right.

Here they come.

In the first and second photo on the left and in photos 3 to 13 bottom right you
can see the additional rubber strap that I bought so that the original rubber
strap would remain unused and especially unshortened.

At the moment I just sit in front of her and look at her.

That reminds me to the song "Can 't Take My Eyes Off You" ...
... but in the version from The Boys Town Gang (cause its my youth).

Until today I just hold her onto my wrist and touch her only with gloves.

Well ... time to wear will come ... and than I fly up to the stars.

See you from above. ๐Ÿ’ซ

Kind regards
Smilla

A little bit of backstory.

A while ago, I saw an Omega Speedmaster X-33 and found it quite interesting.

However, I found the arrangement of the digital displays to be less than optimal
(twisted, so that either the head, the arm or the watch has to be turned in order
to read the display).
Therefore, the X-33 was no longer of interest to me.

But a successor quickly came into my focus.

The Omega Flightmaster with the cal. 910.

I saw a very captivating video from "vintwatches" of the restoration of such a watch.

But with cal. 911.

But it didn't really appeal to me.

And then I got a link that took me to the Z-33.

And ... BANG ... caught.

From the 1st and 2nd sight I knew it.

Well, the rest was simple ... I searched ... I found ... I bought ... I have.

And I like to pronaunce.

Hopefully I'm not the only one here who can find words or photos.

Other Z-33 owners are welcome to join in.

Congratulations. It's one of the bolder watches in the Omega line up. I hope you are able to put the features to work. I have the X-33 and use the alarms and PET often to provide alerts for scheduled meetings.

Lets see some wrist shots soon ๐Ÿ˜€

Thank you for your kind words.

I'm sure I don't need the LOG at any time, cause I'm not a pilot.

The โ€œSputnikโ€ look fascinates me the most and inspired me to choose the name.

The Spotniks - Telstar - 1962

At the moment, it's sleeping completely wrapped up again.

I'm still too excited and afraid I'll unnecessarily scratch the first thing when changing the strap.

And just unpacking it to look at it is enough for me, but I don't want to unpack and repack it too often.

Knowing that I can and am - as the one and only - allowed to get to it at any time is just great. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

An unworn watch is unfulfilled.

If someone didn't say that, they should have ๐Ÿ˜‰

Arousal brings sweating ...

... sweating brings moisture ...

... moisture brings slipperiness ...

... slipperiness brings scratches ...

... ergo, don't get aroused.

And as the great Austin Powers always say ...

... "Behave Babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ..."
