I find this dial interesting.... and even good lookin.
(and with the very faint Swiss made at the bottom, I would even venture it looks original.... although 1950s-1960s Longines aren't really my thing.)


I would say a fun piece -- and really good price if you ask me.

That's a nice front loading manual wind from the late 60's. It's an original dial that you don't see too often.

Linen. Maybe loose weave linen to be more accurate.

I picked it up. My first Longines watch. I've been looking for something a bit different than this linen dial but its uniqueness tempted me and they auto-accepted my best offer. Appreciate you all sharing it with the forum and I'll be sure to get some pics (with my limited photography skills) of the dial when it lands.
