·Dear OF
Up for grabs is a Enicar Ultrasonic, which I believe is from the early 50s (happy to be corrected by the experts). I have to admit, I don't really know much about this watch. I bought it for the really amazing dial, but I've hardly worn it as I find it a tad too small for my taste with 33mm in diameter. I hope somebody else will enjoy and actually wear this beauty.
The specs and conditions
The watch: Enicar Ultrasonic
Dial: The star of the watch. A spectacularly clean dial for its age with an attractive partial textured feature and golden furniture. The radium lume seems to be present where it should be on dial and hands.
Movement: Felsa 690 Bidynator, belonging to the family of the first bi-directional full rotor movement. So you'll get some horological significance here. As for the conditions, the movement looks tired, there are signs of rotor rub, so a service is recommended before regular use.
Case: Most likely polished in the past. But I didn't have a benchmark for the model, so I didn't care. Otherwise no major ding or scratch that would visually distract.
Crown: Replacement crown (actually GP signed), but I've found it very comfortable to wind it.
Dimensions: 33mm in diameter without the crown, 17mm lug width
Terms
I'm asking CHF 325 (was CHF 350) plus shipping. No returns, I am afraid. The watch and I are located in Switzerland.
I have quite a few positive reviews as both buyer and seller here on OF.
Feel free to contact me via DM for questions or if you think forgot to mention anything.
