Hello fellow members, Saw this the other day at small watchmaking shop. Its pretty big Cortebert with some kind of mirror dial simmilar to Seamster and Connie step dials. Case looks shap but crown is not original from what I could see through a window. What do you think? Price is around 100€
The watch pictured is sort of mild and main stream looking since Cortebert is known for their wild cutting edge designs. I would think that price is quite good.
Is it a steel case? That would be the dealbreaker for me. 100€ for a decent size and brand in good working and estetic condition that appeal you is a good price IMO!
That definitely strikes my fancy. The fact that it's in stainless steel is, in my opinion, the green light. Dial condition is nice as well. For 100 euros, there aren't many other options this nice. What about the movement?
How is the crispness of that black border around the minute markers. If there is any over run onto dial it may have been added to hide dial edge issues. It’s hard to tell from pictures but between 1-2 and 5-6. Myself I would keep the $100 for saving to your next watch.
