Do any UK authorised dealers offer discounts and interest free on Planet Ocean. I did ask in an omega boutique and they said no discount if buying on interest free
Suggest you try an independent authorised dealer, they have 'some' flexibility because they are independent.
I don't know about interest free but I have noticed that Authorised Dealers are not offering big discounts at the moment. Although someone on here bought a new speedmaster at 17% discount, I get offered less than 10%. 15 years ago I would look for 10 - 15 %.
Yes they do, Ernest Jones staff can give 15% on any omega and store manager up to 20%. Those figures are roughly right, my memory is failing me! negotiate the price, then say you want credit, Ernest Jones do 0% finance.
We have to remember that most stores have not been trading due to the pandemic, they need cash flow. Any income even with a reduced profit margin will be welcome. It may be worth while telephoning several different retailers to get a feel for their reaction. Good luck. John.
sorry I should have added it doesn’t include moon watches. They are not allowed to discount them. But I did get a DSotM for £5950 (I checked my receipt, think i said less earlier.)
