·I got a chance to pick thus up pretty reasonably from a person on Reddit for a reasonable enough price that I thought it was worth it! I am/was looking for an interesting project to continue my efforts to learn watch servicing on: so something that is functional and running well enough, if not quite perfect.
He sent me this one, and I quite enjoyed it. Best I could tell the dial is right and looks really attractive, and the case looks reasonably not-assaulted/overpolished. It IS a front-loader requiring a special tool which scared the seller off (he seems to buy distressed/etc watches, services them himself, and flips them), but they are easy enough to get on Ebay (which I've done).
Overall, pretty excited about this project! I don't wear gold much, and at 33.5mm, it is likely not something I would wear, but I'm hoping it cleans up/runs nicely enough to be a good gift for a friend in the future (where most of my projects are going to go... some day!).
Anyway, thought you guys would enjoy the pictures, and I'll take more when I get it in hand.
