End piece fit on Seamaster Cosmic

I recently aquired a 1068 BOR bracelet with 527 end pieces. I was looking at the chart and it looks like it should be a 526 end piece. I am unable to find mention of a 527. It appears to fit but is bent out of shape and they are not quite open enough, before I try to adjust them does anyone know if this will fit a 166.036.

Correction looking at the chart it should be a 523 for BOR bracelet.

Hopefully this will show the fitment issue, they are not open wide enough, and I don't want to pry them open if they are not meant for it but they both look a little bent

I don’t know for certain, but I would have thought the bottom lip on the endlink for these should be flat, not curved. I don’t know what the correct endlink for beads of rice bracelets is but for a flatlink bracelet i believe it’s the 507, where you can clearly see the bottom lip is straight.
