The old home place pasture and barn. I spent the entirety of my youth on this farm. Pasture currently under renovation. Cows and chickens by spring. (I could have bought a Speedmaster for what I have in this project…but I wouldn’t smile nearly as much.)

Southern Appalachian mountains, NE Georgia, US.

I always forget how big the USA is and how many different climate zones you must have …. 😀

The mountains are nice here in the south. We get a full four seasons of change…and winter can get chilly. It was -11 C (12 F) yesterday morning.

I'm not religious.
But I love the atmosphere in cathedrals and I love art.
So today I have been in Metz (in the north of France) for a daily trip and enjoyed the beauty of the Saint-Etienne Cathedral.
What makes it so special are the beautiful windows created by Marc Chagall, which are in one of the side aisles.

I thought I'd share this here.
