I'm not religious.
But I love the atmosphere in cathedrals and I love art.
So today I have been in Metz (in the north of France) for a daily trip and enjoyed the beauty of the Saint-Etienne Cathedral.
What makes it so special are the beautiful windows created by Marc Chagall, which are in one of the side aisles.

I thought I'd share this here.
Beautiful colours

Yes, absolutely.
But's difficult to capture the mood with an iPhone.

One job that can’t be fixed with a firmware update.

Put your eagle eyes in…

Health and Safety would have a ball with that one 🤦

That photo lost a bit of resolution when it uploaded. Hopefully this one’s a bit better.

Been coming here since 1966 (and yes, I was under age but I was also tall 😉)

(Edit: I’m still tall)

St. Mary’s Church, Banbury, England? If so, I’ve been in the clock tower, and I’ve seen the automated change-ringing apparatus.

No, St. John’s, Bromsgrove. About 40 miles northwest of Banbury. Nothing of interest, horologically speaking, but the graveyard has a couple of gravestones that may be of interest to you, @Canuck

Walking the hound, this afternoon.

The weather’s been rubbish recently, so it was nice to feel a bit of spring in the air. That evening glass of Merlot is going to taste a bit sweeter, now 😀
