Deep in the woods on a public land hunt in November, I came across this decorated tree in the middle of nowhere. The ornaments were not only hung, but tied to prevent wind from scattering them to the ground.
I’ve spent decades in the woods deeper than many go or have trod and have never happened upon such…and I stood there for minutes as I paused and pondered.
It is my hope that the world will join nature and wildlife as we take a peaceful pause this Christmas season. Merry Christmas to each of you.
