Last night out with the dogs before bed, and on this perfectly still and quiet night, we heard two Great Horned Owls calling back and forth to each other. One was in our back yard, and the other across the neighbourhood somewhere.
Call can be heard here...second owl down just click on the file to the right:

Got in bed and could still here one calling from our back yard...
