·Out for a stroll this afternoon, and was treated to an unexpected and very pleasant flypast. Managed to get a pic before it disappeared.

·Well the terrain is nowhere near Duxford, but as this is the weekend of the Battle of Britain memorial airshows and anyone with a flyable Spitfire is going to throw it into the air I'd say it's one of those and not a Hawker Hurricane which actually did the bulk of the work in 1940.

Depending on your location the BBMF appears to be sticking to the flight plan today (so a few people might get to see a Spitfire and a Hurricane....a bit of thread creep but should lift the spirits of anyone lucky enough to see / hear them :0)
