Taken Friday 7th May - still getting busy - but even fairly central there are a few quirky and quiet spots.
Victorian lamp posts moving from Gas Light to car charging - a sign of the times.
Nice to see people outside restaurants again... soon hopefully we can be inside the pub again / another step to normal :0)

Looks good to me!

Well it is London …… what can be expected ....Sydney Opera House, perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past on a Golden plain :0) …. It does have a few wild empty expanses (taken today)

I am taking a long break ….. so no commute for a while... and my last London pictures which I took while killing time before a farewell party (nice that we can have parties again :0)

Not in lockdown for 2022 ... but lots of people working from home so London is much quieter again with the odd rush hour exceptions. My first trip down since June (apart from Time4aPint). Nice to spend a bit of time there again.

Chicago is the same. So depressing. Still went out to dinner and an almost capacity Symphony last light. Life goes on.

I had a work meeting in London before Christmas.

It was delightfully empty, until I tried to get on the tube at Tower Bridge and saw six million people on the platform.

I ran back upstairs and walked to my destination hoping I wouldn’t get stabbed.
