After all the x33 is very toolish and fills a niche these days better served by the various smart watches. They are fickle for quartz watches too and can need a dealer service to make a new battery work, sometimes in as little as 3-4 years in the case of the first 2 models at least. Of course it may be a totally new movement, maybe something much ‘smarter’ than the 1666 or 5619.

·It's certainly easier for a company like Omega, that produces their products completely in-house, to keep everything a secret until the reveal.
Anyway, if it is X-33 related I would have less than zero interest in it. Prediction: there won't be Snoopy-like waiting lists to score one of these if it is a quartz based job.
