They have fallen a long way from what they once were. Tag Heuer too.
Actually they have risen some over the past few years.

From the latest MS swiss watch report.

In 2023 Breitling had a higher average retail price per watch figure than Omega.

It's all perception and what is deemed worth stealing. They thieves probably found it easier and more profitable to steal $300 watches than a $6,000 watch.

Swatch moon watches are probably easier to move in a dodgy pub or street market stall than anything worth having.
The stupid bastards queuing up to buy them would be easily tempted by an iffy deal for “something that fell of the back of a truck” in the pub!

Yep, and if someone offered me a nice Speedy for $100 bux in the pub........ Or would I say, no naf that, give me that nice modern MoonSwatch......no!
Remembering of course that we are all pissed and give no thought to calling the Rozzers.

Yeah that's a dumb robbery - they will have to offer them so cheap that it will cause suspicions just because of that. I wonder if they also stole the box and papers somehow? Will be a bit of a giveaway. How will anyone be sure they aren't fakes?? Really dumb. Little upside, huge downside if caught.
They were probably across the border into France or Germany before the first police car arrived on the scene. Basel is really a frontier city.

Flogging a dead horse.

Remember how that rich dick called Omega "entry level" ? Now we are the dicks to Breitling.

Although it's tempting to dunk on another brand, let's remember that we have more in common that unites us than our differences which divide:

INVITCA SUCKS!

I'm not a fan of Breitling but if I had to choose, these two I always thought looked quite smart:

Really nice looking bracelet on the last one!
What is the model number, reference on the bottom of the two?
I think it is quite nice
Thanks

Hi - I don't own either, I just have pictures because I liked them (for future ref)

Which one are you asking about? I can find out.

My Premier daily driver checking in. I freaking love this thing. Big win for them to bring this out of the back catalog.
The Premier line is definitely underrated. Was going back and forth between the Pistachio Green dial and this one. Breitling does have some good watches in their catalog, but think the marketing department was a rudderless ship for a long time.

Incredible piece. Was defintely hard to pick between the two. I tihnk my 40mm B09 is perfect. How do you like the 42mm B01 size wise?

I am in LOVE with the dark dial rose gold option duograph, but not at $23k.

The salmon dial datora is probably their best bang for the buck with Patek level aesthetics.

It wears big and probably would've gone with the B09 size wise. Some days it looks good, some days it looks too large. Wish they offered the cream dial option in the 40mm because of the way it wears. Definitely love the salmon dial Daytora. Probably would pick it up second hand since it's a big hit getting them at retail.
