I still think outside of Submariner snobs the SD is awkwardly proportioned to most people and the Sub is the better looking watch.

Interesting that you say this but the new sub C, with its thicker lugs actually looks and feel arger than the SD 4000. Maybe you were thinking of the Deep Sea version of the Sea Dweller?

In comparison with the SD4K , the Sub's lugs are longer crown guards thicker , SD4K 's lugs a tad shorter but beefier & more wrist presences ,crown guards however relatively thinner![]()
