Dear all,

I'm currently in the market for a vintage seamaster 1020, found this example, i'm not too familiar with omega watch, this is going to be my first vintage watch and my first omega. With this condition, is there any thing should i ask more into from the seller? Especially by looking through the movement. Thank you for the advice in advance, sorry if there is some mistake in posting this thread.

Cheers

yeah, we were just discussing these in another thread. We call them TV dial Seamasters.
It looks pretty good to me. See if you can get a look at the bracelet clasp to make sure it's an original Omega. The one I bought a year ago came with a very convincing aftermarket dial with no such markings.

Thank you for the reply, its true this TV dial some how belongs to dress watch style, despite the seamaster name in it which doesn't do any water resistant compare to now a days seamaster, which I found out to be a unique piece to get.

Sure i will get more info on the bracelet clasp to make sure its original.

Do you have the link to this TV dial seamaster thread?

Once again thank you for the advice.
