There is another rust bucket special for sale. Only needs about 1000USD in parts plus that again in labor costs. Looks like the movement is pretty well stripped.

I would expect at the repair cost you could likely pick up the same watch in good unabused condition.

So how much $ is the seller offering for someone to take it off his/her hands?

Looks like a watch one would find buried in the ground 75 years after a nuclear explosion.

There is a school of restoration in automotive that preserves patina also there are “rat rods” …business oppt. for you @sheepdoll .
