Did I pay too much for this full package black dial 168.010 connie?

Long time since I bought a connie, so I'm rusty on the going rate on these and a search here and there on the very few I can find, is not very helpful, so I thought I'll ask what you guys think 😀

It showed up like this, which was a little annoying:

But everything was ok. It was listed with only the boks and spare links, but to my pleasent surprise an envelope showed up under the tray:

It was bought at the military navy base on Greenland (maybe they were out of Speedmasters 😀 )

Beside tiny tiny bubbles on the dial around the "OMEGA" logo everything is very nice - at least to my eyes....

Price was USD 1900 - what do you think - too much? Even it takes a lupe to see the bubbles, it's a negative - on the other hand it's a black dial pie-pan, so..... Is a black dial 168.010 rare in a way that it matters, or...?

Let me know what you think, please.

Thank you.

Paid $1850 for my black dial 14902 with b&p 8 years ago so I’d say you did fine

Fantastic condition from your pictures.

I bought mine with its correct 19mm BOR bracelet. Got very lucky on that.

It is dated to circa 1966.....168.010

Inside case back is unique.

No you definitely didn't pay too much. I'd consider it a bargain if I scored that package for that price 😀

So a big 👍 from me....

...did I say "Dibs" already? 😁

One thing I have learned in collecting vintage watches: you can always make more money, but you can't always find good examples of what you are chasing. So enjoy that [very nice] watch and don't stress about the rest.

Very nice - would love a correct 19 mm bracelet/ends too, but they seem hard to find... :-(

Looks great. I’m no Connie expert but that does not seem a high price.

Thanks - read somewhere it should be 555. I'll add 527 to the search.... 😀

Both 555 and 527 endlinks are available new from Omega. Parts no. 026ST555 and 026ST527 respectively. Any AD should be able to order them.

Thanks - guess it's the 19 mm BOR that's hard to get....
