I have to remind myself it’s an inanimate object - I love it and our relationship is only an hour old!

Thanks to all of you for the advice, encouragement, and enabling! LOL

Yeah. I am pretty “monochromatic” in my daily dress (black, grey, dark blue) - until I put it on my wrist, I didn’t know if it would work for me (consideration was between the Summer Blue, Black and Dark/Traditional Blue). I ended up loving the “Summer Blue” - it has a silver/grey appearance or blue depending on how the light strikes it…I immediately fell in love with it!

Such an amazing watch. Congrats! I hope to get a twin at some point. The summer blue watches will be one of the really great modern designs that really stand the test of time, I think.

Regarding the need to take this off when things get rough. I'll simply say, the genesis of this watch was worn by none other than Mr. Bond. If it was good enough for him, while he had to kill that guy in the hotel room in Haiti, it should hold up to your travails.

Congrats. Which size is it?

The summer blue PO only comes in 39.5mm. I personally wish Omega would make this one at 42mm, same height, with a 20 or 21mm bracelet. I'd buy it picoseconds.

I completely agree! For my small wrists, the 39.5 is perfect but for most others, 39.5 is too small. The colorS are fantastic- I don’t what sort of VooDoo Magic at OMEGA brought the color. Straight on, the watch face appears the color of most OMEGA official photos (the lighter hue center that gradually darkens as it nears the circumference). But, even a gentle tilt in any direction and in any light, has the face noticeably appear darker in color (a gray/blue). The only analogy I can think of that fits is a person with “hazel” eye color, whereby the person’s eye color appears to change based on what color they are wearing and/or the play of the light. I am amazed by the feature - kudos to those at OMEGA that devised this!

39.5 - the only size (currently for the 600m version); the 2000 meter version is a larger size (but far too large for my small wrists and my budget LOL).

One of my son's eyes are gray, except for when they're very slightly blue, or hazel. Just depends upon the lighting.

Yeah, my youngest son has “hazel” eyes - the color is different on any given day, the light, and/or the color shirt he is wearing. He said, “Dad, what color is the new OMEGA?” I replied, “Your eye color.” He said, “What?!” LOL
