Or before they put ceramic bezels on all divers, which will make them look new for decades (which I'm not a fan of).

My SARB017 has taken lots of dings and scratches these three years; including the sapphire being scratched at the '1 min mark. The sapphire scratch hurt the most, but I kind of like it now since it can only be seen at a certain angles/light. Hope to get the case it a bit more beat up so that it's uniform throughout.

Never selling it, and will preserve it unpolished (when it's time to take it's first service in a few years). Bought it for $420. Crazy that all dinged/scratched as it is, it will still sell for way more than what it cost.

Nothing wrong with a good old Seiko
