Very nice, I appreciate the honest wear. These look just as good, or better, in this condition than NOS if you ask me.

Yes. I agree. This looks as if it's used for the purpose it was meant to be.

I sold all my Seikos a few years ago to fund other watches and this makes me regret it (a little).

One owner since June 1982 😀

Serviced by Simon Freese and running well

.

I'd have a stern word to Simon about the effectiveness of his case cleaning regime.

I definitely second other's comments above, I dig the honest condition of the watch! Look's like it's lived a life of purposeful wear and experiences.

I've got this well used 7009 that came in the original box but it runs very fast. It's not magnetized and my watch repair shop said they couldn't get the caseback off without potentially damaging it. Oh well, at least it's ....good? ... To look at!

Oh sorry, wrong thread for lizerd content. 😀

Looks like new…. almost

Looks like someone tried to polish it with a grinding wheel. They took "that'll buff right out" to the next level.

Weathered seiko divers are the best. Get ‘em while you still can (before hypers move on to them!)
