Day off today and I was musing the watch collection when I realised how much the Seiko section had burgeoned. I do like Seiko (obviously😉) as I believe they are great value for money and offer an extremely diverse and interesting range. The majority of mine being 60's and 70's models.

I also believe that Seiko will be the next brand to fill the void of the skyrocketing Swiss brands.
Except with a couple out for service this is the extent of the addiction thus far😗

Your safe, you haven’t hit the speed timers yet. That’s when it starts getting crazy….😉

I do like that bull head sitting on the left middle row 😉

I don't know why all the Seiko fanboys are collecting. They're rather crap watches compared to good European brands.

My tip to all Seiko hoarders is to sell them all NOW while you can still get cents in the dollar for them and focus on proper watches.

The problem: four SEIKOs are missing 😁
FIFY😀 Forgot about these three and there is a Pogue and 6105-8000 plus another out being serviced.

PS: I couldn't see one of these.

Are you sure that you're a serious Seiko collector?

Ah ah... not sure it is a (the ?) problem.
The fact you just came out and discuss it openly is a great path 😉 anyway.

(Congrats ! And now I understand why you have to wear at least 2 watches per day 😁)

@Barking mad I do not believe you have a problem. Obviously you have a taste for aesthetic, elegance, durability, craftsmanship connected with pragmatism and common sense for buying watch brand with one of the best price density/quality to price ratio. 👍😁👍

That's s very ignorant. Seiko made great watches AND crap watches. All the cheap stuff they made dilutes their brand, so that folks think it was all cheap crap, but there are some real gems in their catalog in terms of design, quality and movement technology. When they put it all together, they made Swiss-level watches without the Swiss-level prices. Some of their iconic dive watches are amongst the best watch designs ever made.
My advice to the OP: shrink the collection and focus of good examples of the most desirable references

I suffer from this affliction too:

The divers:

The 6139s

The 6138s

The Digis. I'm behind on some battery changes, but they do all work

The oddballs:

Shunbun:

These two are out for service:

06LC, Seiko's first digital (and first titanium)

Definitely the rarest and most special, the 18k limited edition 1972 3823 Quartz V.F.A.

Love your 6105-8110 I think I saw in your diver box. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen in in WRUW a few times.
Nice collection!

Thank you and yes you have seen it a few times.
It now shares the box with a 6105-8000 "The Private" after its return from a major overhaul😀
