Ahhh, sarcasm. Missed it. Was laying in bed, having just woken up

Sarcasm?

I was just trying to help out the misguided people who have lots of Seiko's and need to get really serious about watch collecting and change over to Swiss brands which are much more highly regarded.

😗

So, the market is plummeting so my advice is SELL SELL SELL!

😁

Day off today and I was musing the watch collection when I realised how much the Seiko section had burgeoned. I do like Seiko (obviously😉) as I believe they are great value for money and offer an extremely diverse and interesting range. The majority of mine being 60's and 70's models.

I also believe that Seiko will be the next brand to fill the void of the skyrocketing Swiss brands.
Except with a couple out for service this is the extent of the addiction thus far😗

at least they're not all Rolex's 😉

If those were all Speedmasters, then you would really have a problem. Might need to step it up.

My Seiko collection.

Some may see many watches, I see vacancy on the empty slots, nice collections, cheers 😀

The problem isn't you... its Seiko! It is not your fault that they have such a variety of accessible and interesting watches!

One needs only to look at your user name to answer the question in the thread title. Upon further investigation, you don't appear to have one of these yet...

It's only a problem if you run out of storage space.

I do love the variation in models with your watches. Many stick to the 6139's or 6138's. You have a watch for every mood. I hope the potential rise of Seiko prices doesnt go too hard to fast to impede my collecting!

I suffer from this affliction too:

I only have a dozen Seikos. Your posts go a great way in reassuring me that my collector tendencies are truly mild and not as severe as my spouse claims.😁

I only have two Seikos.

Only in a forum like this does one hear “I only have x Seikos,” when most of the sane world has one or no watches.

In a way, we’re all @Barking mad .

Sadly this whole analysis is completely faulty.
I ran this through the super computer at Brookhaven national laboratory and it turns out you don’t have a Seiko problem at all. In fact you don’t even have a watch problem.
Analysis confirms my suspicions. It is actually worse then Archer feared.
What you have is a box problem !
OF staff are drawing up a treatment plan but this will take time. It will involve slowly destroying the watch boxes one by one.
As this done it is our belief that the Seiko watches will disappear by themselves.

or you could just join Watchuseek.

Mmm, worse then I thought, I called Orkin, they said they may have to tent the house and send in a team from Timex.

I also see that you have most refrigerated, smart thinking, that will slow down the spread 👍
