I've never opened maybe more than half the watches in my collection, and lately I've been making an active effort to test and catalogue my watches and bracelets - wishing for the best, expecting the worst

Maybe some of you remember this question: https://omegaforums.net/threads/3-digits-of-a-serial-number-etched-out-why.165334/ - In the thread @Peemacgee pointed to this story: https://omegaforums.net/threads/constellation-with-drilled-out-serial.70091/

Today stumbled onto another watch with assumably the same story!

I've always wondered why this watch was so affordable, now I know why, back in the day it was below market value even though in the current market it's just an okay price - missing screw just adds to the comedy

I expected a functional issue the way the seller acted, surprised it kept time good time, opening it after 2+ years, I see now 馃榿

Tonight was just going to be a relaxation of crystal polishing 馃榾

Very interesting to see some of the tricks that used to be played between grey market at licensed dealers!

Another beautiful C-Case Kaplan, a fluted bezel like this one is certainly going to be next in my collection
