Inherited 1960's c-case constellation

Finally got the case opened up and took a look inside. It looks absolutely immaculate. No obvious signs of wear or corrosion to my very inexperienced eye. I didn't have my good camera available so no pictures at the moment. It is indeed a cal 564, s/n 24827812, and marked on the inside of the case back with CD 168.017.

Serial dates production of the movement to around 1966, so the wedding gift theory stands up well. With a little occasional TLC the watch will easily travel into the next generation of icspots 😀
