How well did I do?

Hi,
I purchased this omega seamaster 2767-10SC few months ago. It looks pretty clean to me, except the hands that are a little bit corroded. Everything seems to be original including the crystal since I can clearly see the omega logo engraved. I purchased it as a runner, unfortunately the watch was not running once I received it. The balance wheel moves freely, a little hard to wind it, and it seems like the main spring is broken as it can't store any energy.
$450 as it is. I have decided to keep it as I feel, the watch just need an overhaul and a new spring. I think I am down for another $300, but I am fine with that. I like to take a gamble sometimes.
Did I do well? I am curious

I think it's a solid example. They often have spotting on the lacquer like that.

Off to a good start, sharp case clean movement. Service and enjoy.

I sent my watch for repair and I just got it back! The watchmaker had to swap few parts but it is now running like a charm. I will explain everything and show pics in a dedicated thread.

To save some money. Can buy generic hands for your watch instead of genuine. Look the same and probably 1/4 less value wise

I think the hands I picked up are fine, not perfect of course. I would rather have those than brand new ones. The original ones were very pitted
