This is snowfall reminded me of growing up in Cleveland with the lake effect snow. Nice snowblower. Is it co-axial or manual?

…. despite having 7"+ of snow on a double driveway corner lot:

Yeah, baby!

That would be pretty cool!

BTW, My boss trumped me - I joked with the company about why I could open the store at 10 instead of the 11 or 12 that everyone else did, and here's what the head honcho uses to clear snow:

Oooh, I could do some damage with that baby in the Everglades! 😁

Just swap out the plow in front and raise it up another couple of feet.

And people wonder why California, Texas and Florida are 1, 2 and 4 in population in the latest figures. New York is 3, but only by 50,000 or so. We should pass them this year.

You have to be crazy to put up with that.

I figure at least 50,000 people will move from NY to Florida as soon as they dig themselves out. 😜

Was -20C here yesterday morning, and the wind made it feel like -30....

Over in Amsterdam it was ~2-3C with a lot of humidity, was so cold I wanted to hide in a furnace, I can't even imagine what -30 would feel like 🙁

We are spoiled with nice weather all year. When I moved to Michigan years ago, it was quite a shock to experience temperature below -0 C, especially when I had to shovel the snow....manually😵‍💫

Like with a shovel or something? Surely there's an app for that

I don't think shovel out snow with smartphone is advisable 😜 You could do better with spoon.

Who needs an app when you have cash? There's gotta be a teenager with a shovel in the neighborhood.

I lived in University Family Housing back then. No teenager with shovel showed up. (Well pretty much all family's children were less than 10 years old).

There are ski resorts in Aussie, no reason not to see snow. Unless you really love warm weather 😜.
I have uncle who went to New York once in winter. He swore never to go to US and Europe again except during summer....

Yea, got an unusual email from my daughters school today here in Chicago. They are making tomorrow an "optional" day due to the extreme cold and wind chill, supposed to be something like -40F with wind chill😲 ...but really, what does it take to close the school down?🙄

Right now I'm a little jealous of that Ash!

yeah, but we've never seen sand storms bad enough to ground flights and keep people indoors.

I feel a little bad for you, but not terrible. You missed out on snowmen, snowball fights, the excitement of listening for your school closing code on snowy mornings…..

….. but then again getting a pass on shoveling and driving amongst morons who don't know how to drive in snow might be better.

After just coming in from shoveling, all wet and cold, right now I think I'd trade for that.🙁

Not me! Ice & snow melts - sand doesn't.
