How to check Omega service history by serial number

Didn’t know if this would work but it did: for my new pick-up (a 2012 Olympics Seamaster), I visited the contact form at the Omega site and provided the ref and serial numbers and asked if they had any record of the watch receiving an official Omega/Swatch service (since I don’t know its history). It took them a few days to respond, but they did. (The answer is no.) Obviously it could have been serviced somewhere else, but this is good to know.

Don’t know why but I figured they’d tell me they can’t provide such information. I’m pleasantly surprised.
