And Seamaster in most boutiques in London

For seamasters and railmasters I concur. But speedmasters, any still available at boutiques and ADs?

i have an older dive (60/70's)that has the longer lugs like the trilogy. the oyster that i put on it does make it look a little weird, so i know what you're talking about. the main culprit is that the end pieces are not long enough and the horns just stick out more. my band is thinner though, so i could imagine a thicker band one being and feeling more odd
This was my issue when the RM was on bracelet, and why therefore it spent more of its time on leather (where I think it’s best suited).

That said, it’s all subjective and what you like to look at.

In London, I don’t think so. I know the boutiques had 3 or so around Christmas time but they were all gobbled up....

I think not. Supplies of the Speedmaster and Seamaster have pretty much dried up in Euro boutiques and ADs. There are still a few Railmasters dotted about but its been a while since the other 2 were seen in windows and cabinets. These are now finally approaching genuine sold out status.

As of a couple of week or so ago, regent street had one as did the royal exchange.

Not in the windows, but in the cabinets in the shops. In fact both had the RM and SM.

Interesting. I was chatting with the Birmingham Boutique people recently who said the first 2 were now gone, they had a SM at Christmas but that went.

Nope, In both the two I mentioned. No speedies however.

The problem as ever with the OB is a lack of discount which makes it an expensive purchase in comparison to the newer SM....

I got all my trilogy pieces at same time (but not the set) at a slight discount. If i recall correctly, about USD18K for all three.

Local AD was selling me railmaster on display. Told salesperson if she can also find a speedmaster and seamaster, i would buy all three.

She said might be hard since the speedy is selling well.

Well, in less than a month she found all three. So had to put my money where my mouth was and got all three (even if not the special trilogy set).

Bravo Pong. So that is me and you then. How many others have the full set? Can't be too many, maybe we should start a thread, it'll be an exclusive club I would imagine. Oh and pics or it didn't happen!

A nice mix of classic and modern. Give the RM a go on a leather strap, it really changes the feel. I'll probably give the SM a go like that next.

I think they’re all pretty spectacular looking heritage watches that I’d actually love to own.

I suppose I can see how their sale price missed the mark but I’m sure they ended up bing discounted at the AD and OB?

Did anyone here buy theirs new?

I see sets available for shouter $20k and that seems like a lot still. Nice though nonetheless.

I have the SM on leather. Purchased a full set from France and got a good deal delivered to me here in the states. Note the black strap (not the tan)which came with this set. The black leather is not a true jet black, but has a just a touch of brown in it to my eye. Very appealing. The Speedmaster and RM are both on my hunting list.

My SM set was purchased privately but "as new".

I've seen a full set on eBay offered privately at $16,500 USD BIN with a number of watchers eyeing the deal. However I won't buy them with the Trilogy printed on the dial. I'm reasonably confident I can get all three at a lower price than the 16.5 with a bit of careful searching.

The SM looks great on the tan leather strap. I tried it on with it and it sets it off beautifully.

I need to stop reading this thread or else there will be a seamaster on the way at some point....

They must have been given the railmaster straps. Did you get the mustard nato which went with the RM or the brown one for the SM?
