Ok, this thread has made me realize that my collection is terribly unfocused. I had to stop counting at 30.

Wish I owned a watch brand. Because then I would be worth ...

And if I did own a watch brand it would have to be Lemania.
I see you caught that, question why Lemania. I would pick Longines.

Showing off, actual counts

i beg to differ. Actually in our hobby, rare is it that people flex. When we post something, it really is meant to share with kindred spirits.

will count how many brands i have later. From what i can remember: Seiko, Omega, Citizen, Rolex, Yema, Timex, Kenneth Cole, Cartier, IWC, ALS, Panerai, Gucci, Ibarra, Zodiac, TAG Heuer, Nomos, Longines, Memorigin, JLC, PP, AP and VC.

I’m sure I have some more of my old watches laying around, so I probably missed a few.

P.S. Don’t laugh at my Invicta...we all started from somewhere 😝::facepalm1::.

why Lemania.

Their heritage and legacy. They designed amazing movements, the most well known being what Omega calls the 320/321, 860/861 and 1861 (also the 1340, 1045, and a lot I am not mentioning). They are essentially responsible for Omegas Moonwatch success in chronograph functionality. A lot of high-end brands still use the 320/321 movement (or derivatives based on this design) in their watches today (Breguet, Patek, Vacheron)...Omega just revived the 321 for their top-end Speedies. Lemania also made/designed a lot of tool watches for military ... some of which are absolute beauties. They also made, under license, a lot of the early Speedies (ie 2998 etc ... usually those where an extract couldn’t be found in the past) and other watches and pocketwatches for Omega ... in fact they made a lot of watches for a lot of brands where the brands would simply pick a Lemania design (hence there is a recurring theme when one starts to notice it) and put their name on the dial (thinking Heuer, Sinn, Tissot etc). Think of any sought after vintage Omega with a chrono - powered by Lemania. Plus if I owned Lemania, there would be a lot more modern watches with these gorgeous movements today 👍

Why Longines ? 😀

Longines brought the chronograph to the people, on a wristwatch. I love the whole mechanical aspect of watches. That omega 320/321 is on my list. Watches are
