Not a motorcycle rider myself but my dad was a big Triumph Bonneville man when I was a toddler, that was until he crashed one them and my Mum said no more bikes get a car , so he bought a Triumph Herald. Anyway enough of the reminiscing , was out & about today and saw this in a antiques shop in Ashbourne ( Derbyshire ) . And to round off the Truimph theme , I now live 2 miles from the new Triumph factory in Hinckley .

Here’s mine.
2003 R1150R

The previous owner didn’t ride it at all the 4 years before I got it. Lots of elbow grease and delayed maintenance later, it runs great!

I've never ridden a day in my life, but I like the idea of it and these two Boulevards from Suzuki have always caught my eye:
2018 M109R
2020 M90

I grew up riding dirt motorcycles in the Mojave Desert of Southern California.
My first bike was a Honda 50 Scrambler when I was 12 years old.
I moved up to a Suzuki TS 185 enduro and then a Yamaha 250 DT1.
In high school, my last dirt bike was a Yamaha TT 500 and then I got into road bikes.
In 1979, I bought a 1975 Norton 850 Commando and have had that model of bike since.
Here is a picture of my current bike.

That’s a Mk3 Roadster, right? Does the electric foot work properly?

My mate had one back in the day, he gave up on the starter. Kick starting it always. Sweet ride as I remember. Used to confuse the hell out of people that his British bike was newer than my Japanese one, Kawasaki Z1 at the time

Yes, a 1975 Mark III.

I have the stock electric starter on the bike.
I usually kickstart it when it is cold. It takes several good kicks to get it going.
But, once it's been running for a while, the electric start will re-start it, such as stopping for lunch somewhere or stopping for gas.

I'm thinking of getting the modern Japanese upgraded starter which is half the size and works every time.

She’s a beaut. Rare to see one that’s been with the same owner for such a length of time.

I know my mate regretted selling his, he got. DBD34 Gold Star and hated it.

Roadster so much prettier than the Interstate. I nearly bought a 74 MkII but couldn’t get used to the gear change being on the “wrong side”. I kept my Z1 for a few years. I regretted parting with it, even more now

The daily driver and two "projects". Two of these are still in the garage but haven't moved for 20 years -- not even being pushed around 🙁

You got that right! I started riding when the first Streetfighter came out (2009) and I remember seeing it on the cover of some website or magazine, and instantly became my dream bike. It ended up being my 4th bike and for sure my favorite.
