How hard is it to get an Omega Catalogue

Did when I wanted one... Been a few years since I have been in the market for a new Omega. After the Speedmaster and then the 2 Speedy Tuesday Speedmasters.

Nowadays I just ring my contact 😗 and get anything I need. 😉

I was in my OB for a bracelet adjustment (free) & asked. When I said a web request for a catalog never came, the salesperson said I could just call the boutique and they’d mail one. Using Google lens, you can scan some pages which link to expanded content & products on the Omega website.

I asked my OB yesterday about a catalogue, and he said they were being printed. So hopefully I'll get a catalogue in the near future.

Why you ask to OB when there is a chance to order it online. They do not send on time when you order online, or? I ordered this year's catalogue and it came in 3 days. However it's the 2nd time they sent in German even though I ordered English version. So far I never get a catalogue in the language I requested. Longines sent me German even though I ordered English, Oris sent me English even though I ordered German. I do not know what's going on with them but i never had a chance go get the wished one till now 😁

I ordered one online back in early December because of this thread just to see what would happen. Still haven't received one. I asked at the King of Prussia OB when I was there a few weeks ago and he said they're not getting/doing them anymore. He also said the mother ship is not good a communication so I'm not surprised there are varying reports.

I’ve never received a catalogue when ordering online, and I have tried multiple times. I’ve gotten catalogues at the OB previously, but now I can’t be bothered to be honest. Everything you need is online anyway…

Despite multiple orders, and trying in French as well, I have not been able to get a catalogue. Maybe 1/2 year ago the OB told me they could not get them either, so I asked if there was an update.

True. One reason I would like a catalogue is so that a senior citizen who doesn't speak English can see easily what he may like, then we can narrow it down online where there may be more variations.

However, I went to my OB in Bangkok 3 weeks ago, mentioned the long wait and asked if they could help with procuring a catalogue. The OB “special ordered” one for me and it arrived a couple of days ago. They also mentioned that this was a special case since Omega is currently phasing out all hardcopies / catalogues and it will be harder and harder to request them in the future.

Paper catalogues are really a thing of the past now, every manufacturer has a website with far more current and detailed information. Omega must be one of the last to give them up.

I think the benefits of a catalogue are in the fact it won't be updated. You'll always be able to look back at the offering Omega had at a specific moment in time.

In Israel I get the latest one promptly in the mail within a week or two.
