How hard is it to get an Omega Catalogue

It's very interesting because I ordered from the website and just in less than a week I got the catalogue in my postbox. Maybe it is because that I live on the border of Switzerland in Austria. I have also an account on the website, idk if this makes a difference. Btw. even though I ordered the English version they just sent the German one.

I must have ordered from their website 3-4 times, and not once have I received the catalogue. I’ve however walked into OBs and asked for one without issues.

I tried again about 2 weeks ago, but ordered the French version this time. I'm in Canada so I thought I'd give it un autre essai. Nothing yet.

I felt now a little more lucky because I almost have not waited :/ Maybe they have some limits for each country and language and therefore you couldn’t get it. Btw. older catalogues were way better. I think in near future they’ll also go with e-catalogue like many other brands, which is sad even though it’s probably way better for the environment.

As I understand it in the UK at least they haven’t produced a 2022 brochure, they are still using the 2021 brochure. I’ve been given them at Omega events but haven’t seen them available at boutiques for a long time. The production cost probably isn’t worthwhile.

I am in Canada as well, I have ordered a few times with no avail. The last time they sent me one was when I emailed them directly, even then it arrived 6-8 MONTHS after the e-mail exchange. They sent an Essence of Omega and a catalogue with the Bond NTTD cover. Strangely enough, even though it was 6-8 months after they said they'd send one they decided to FedEx Priority Overnight it to me (?) Arrived in a basic envelope with no Omega branding, I completely forgot about it by that point. Not a great look if you're actually shopping around!

Any experience with returns? How are they with returns, if something goes wrong, or you have second thoughts, or issues with the item's condition?

I got mine as well by FedEx last Sunday - essece of Omega + the Omega Lifetime catalogue. Requested when I made my last post here on Dec 9. Took a direct e-mail to Omega which they took almost a month to respond to, but it did arrive!

There were some vintage catalogs on eBay the other day.

I am out of room for such ephemera. If only I had access to the information 30 years ago like there is now. Not that I regret purchasing what I did. There is something about having the paper to flip through.

I've ordered a few times from the website over the past couple of years. No luck on my end.

I’m in Canada and have requested a catalog via the Omega website a few times; unfortunately I’m still waiting…

Ironically, it was easier to find this one in mint condition, than it is to obtain a current one. Ordered twice, but no luck.

(‘84/85 catalogue, with price lists; and yes, I even got two. 😁)

I have requested one from the website (USA) but never received it. I just requested one now when this thread reminded me of it. I'll update here if I get it.
