How does this (Everite) caseback open?

It's an Everite mechanical watch, maybe 1960s?

I don't see a notch for a snapback, and I'm intrigued by the four holes. Any ideas?

Cheers

4 holes are likely for a face pin wrench/pin spanner. It is a bar with two pins sticking out the side, you put each pin in a hole, then you have a wrench you can twist the back with. Here is a picture of 1 style of them.

A lot of case back opening tools have similar functionality/pins that might fit.

HOWEVER, before you do this, look down in teh holes and make sure it isn't something silly like screws in the bottom of them.

Thanks for the info, I was a bit thrown because it seems as though there's an inner and an outer ring, but I think that might just be a machined step
