·My 3861 has lost 13 seconds in the past 16 days so I can’t complain. I think a few seconds of the 13 was down to me not wearing one of those days so I didn’t wind it up for about 36 hours
FOIS = between -1 / +2 depending on time on wrist. It has held that accuracy since it was regulated early in its life. Compares favourably with my SMP Diver 8800 and a bit better overall than an AT 41 8900.
Doesn't hack of course, but then neither do I.
Speedy Pro 3570.50 - not happy with accuracy at all - gaining at least 30 sec a day. I tried to adjust a bit yesterday, fingers crossed I got the right direction of the screw 😀
Sounds like your watch could be magnetised. My Speedy FOIS was behaving the same way a couple of years ago. Bought a cheap demagnetizer off eBay and gave it a run. Fixed it straight away.
My basic skills at the timegrapher indicate 0 +\- at 49 lift angle for my new Mark 40 (1152 cal).
lift angle is 50 degrees on the 1152, but having the wrong lift angle will only affect the amplitude reading, and not affect the rate you are reading.
I recently got a 3861 and Its consistently 5 seconds fast, which I guess while its in spec for the metas certification, I must admit to being slightly disappointed, but I have been really spoiled by a spring drive GS so maybe i need to reset my expectations a bit...
watchguy.co.uk has a bunch of the documentation online, but theres plenty around.
Eta manuals can also be found with lift angle information.
