Is it better to split my watch in to pieces to sell or sell.it as one piece

I would have to go back and look at the other thread in detail to remember all the parts, but my honest feeling is that you may be overthinking this. Let's say for the sake of argument you could hypothetically make $100 more if you split it into parts, and sold it that way (and there's no guarantee of that). Would it really be worth the time, energy, risk, and hassle? I'm not trying to be glib, and I know that $100 may be significant to you. But you need to understand that nobody can say for sure how much the watch will sell for, or how much each part will sell for. And there's no question that it could take a lot longer for all the parts to sell and involves a lot more effort. And your profit will depend on every one of the parts selling for what you hope it will sell for.

A collector won't want it, but as a complete watch it's attractive and functional. Someone will be happy to have it and it will be a lot easier
