Dear Omega experts,

I found this nice vintage Omega 2640-4 from the early 50's which is a jumbo (36 mm) but was just wondering if you think that the dial is authentic (and your thoughts concerning the condition of the watch in general). The hour markers are not triangular but I already saw 2640s also with this straight kind of markers. Always extremely happy to receive your opinions.

Cheers and good night!

With the onyx inserts, that dial definitely looks late 50's to early 60's to me.

Hi, from the S/N of the movement, it seems to be between 1950 and 1952 (at least he movement).

Yup, and it seems to be a sunburst finish, which also points towards the 60s or late 50s (and thus doesnt match the movement).

Did you notice the discoloration around 10-11? It looks quite significant, although the pictures do a good job of distracting from it.

The regulator arm and steel gears show significant signs of corrosion. I would pass on this.
